For the Filling
  • 2 packages Chocolate Pudding filling/Jell-o preferably the stovetop variety
  • 1/4 Cup heavy whipping cream
For Topping
  • Thawed Whipped Topping like Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream, to be added before serving

Preparation
  1. Bake your frozen pie crust according to the package instructions. Once it's done, allow it to cool and set aside.
  2. Prepare the chocolate pudding as directed on the package.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the cooked pudding and heavy whipping cream for about 2 minutes, using either a whisk or an electric mixer.
  4. Spoon the creamy pudding mixture into the cooled pie crust.
  5. Generously layer whipped topping over the pudding layer.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours to let it set properly.
