  • 1 pound beef top sirloin steak Can substitute with flank steak, chicken, or tofu.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar Adjust to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers Use various colors for a pop of color.
  • 1 medium sliced onion
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil For stir-frying.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice the beef top sirloin into thin strips.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sugar, cornstarch, and ginger until well combined.
  3. Add the beef to the mixture. Allow it to marinate for 15 to 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. In a pan or wok, heat cooking oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the marinated beef to the hot oil, cooking until browned.
  3. Incorporate sliced bell peppers, onion, and minced garlic. Stir-fry until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Plate your dish over cooked rice or noodles, and enjoy!

Notes
