Ingredients

Fresh Fruits
  • 2 cups mixed fresh fruits (strawberries, blueberries, bananas, kiwi, mango — chopped into bite-sized pieces) Note: Slice bananas thinly for best texture due to them softening when frozen.
Yogurt Dressing
  • 1 cup yogurt (plain or flavored; Greek yogurt recommended) Greek yogurt gives more body.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Can substitute with a sugar-free sweetener to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Stops browning and adds brightness.
Optional Add-ins
  • 1/4 cup nuts (chopped almonds, pecans, or walnuts) For added crunch.
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish Optional for serving.

Method

Preparation
  1. Chop fruit: Cut strawberries, mango, and other large fruits into bite-sized pieces. Place all fruit in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Make the dressing: In a separate bowl, whisk together yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and lemon juice until smooth.
  3. Combine gently: Pour the yogurt mixture over the fruit. Toss gently to coat.
  4. Add nuts (optional): Fold in chopped nuts if desired.
  5. Transfer to container: Spread the mixture evenly in a freezer-safe container (an 8x8-inch pan or shallow tub works well).
  6. Freeze: Cover and freeze for 2–4 hours, or until firm enough to scoop.
  7. Soften before serving: Let sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes for easier scooping.
  8. Scoop and garnish: Serve in chilled bowls topped with fresh mint leaves if desired.
