Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 packet chili seasoning (or your preferred homemade mix)
  • 29 ounces tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 pound macaroni
  • 1/2 cup Heinz chili sauce
  • Shredded cheese, diced onion, sour cream for topping

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain the fat and then add the chili seasoning, tomato sauce, and brown sugar.
  • Stir to combine and allow it to simmer over low heat for 15 minutes.
  • While the chili is simmering, bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the macaroni and cook according to package directions. Once cooked, drain the macaroni and return it to the pot.
  • Pour the chili into the pot with the cooked macaroni. Add the chili sauce and stir to combine.
  • Serve the chili mac with shredded cheese, diced onions, and sour cream as desired. Enjoy your hearty meal!
