  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream Can substitute with Greek yogurt or heavy cream.

  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken slices and brown them on both sides, then remove the chicken and set it aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the onions and garlic, sautéing until the onions become translucent.
  4. Add the mushrooms and cook until they start to brown and release their juices.
  5. Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms and stir to combine. Allow it to cook for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Gradually pour in chicken broth, stirring constantly to create a smooth sauce.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and reduce heat to low, letting it simmer for 10 minutes.
  8. Stir in sour cream and paprika, then season with salt and pepper.
  9. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the sauce thickens and the chicken is fully cooked.
  10. Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice and garnish with fresh parsley.
