Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts Ensure chicken is at room temperature before cooking.
  • 2 cups fresh spinach Can substitute with kale or Swiss chard.
  • 1 cup heavy cream For a lighter version, use half-and-half.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Make sure it is gluten-free if required.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt Season the chicken well.
  • to taste Pepper Season the chicken well.

Instructions
 

Cooking Chicken

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Add chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes per side.
  • Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add spinach and cook until wilted.
  • Pour in chicken broth and cream, stirring to combine and bring to a simmer.
  • Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and sauce thickens.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over it.

Notes

Serve hot with pasta, rice, or crusty bread to soak up the creamy sauce. If the sauce thickens upon refrigeration, add a splash of chicken broth or cream.
