Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- If the chicken fingers are raw, precook them according to the package instructions.
- Slice the tray buns in half horizontally, creating a top and bottom layer.
- In a bowl, mix the melted butter, parsley, thyme, and garlic together.
- Dab the butter mixture on top of the chicken fingers to enhance the flavor before baking, and brush some on the surface of the bottom tray buns.
- Lay the cooked chicken fingers on the bottom layer of the tray buns.
- Add 4 slices of Swiss cheese to cover the chicken.
- Layer the deli ham slices over the cheese, then top with the remaining cheese slices.
- Place the top of the tray buns back on.
- Using the rest of the butter mixture, brush the tops of the buns.
- Roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
- Allow the sliders to rest for a few minutes after removing them from the oven, as the cheese will be very hot.

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven at a low temperature to maintain bun crispiness. For freezing, wrap individual sliders and store in a freezer-safe bag for up to a month.
