  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken breast Use leftover chicken for convenience.
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced
  • 120 grams shredded cheddar cheese Can substitute with pepper jack for extra heat.
  • 60 milliliters Ranch dressing Substitute with chipotle sauce for a smoky flavor.
  • 15 grams chopped fresh cilantro
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • 4 large flour tortillas Can use whole wheat or corn tortillas for healthier options.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, diced avocado, cheddar cheese, Ranch dressing, chopped cilantro, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Fold gently to combine.
  • Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.

Assembly

  • Distribute the filling evenly along the center of each tortilla. Fold in the sides and roll tightly to form burritos.

Cooking

  • Place the burritos seam-side down in a preheated skillet and grill for 2 to 3 minutes until golden and lightly crisped, turning as needed.
  • Slice if desired and serve warm.

Notes

These burritos are best served warm and can be enjoyed with salsa, hot sauce, or a side salad. To store leftovers, wrap tightly and refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
