  • 4 cups Cooked Chicken, shredded Can use leftover chicken.
  • 1 package Dressing (stuffing mix)
  • 2 cups Macaroni Cook according to package instructions.
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Milk For the cheese sauce.
  • 4 tablespoons Butter For making the cheese sauce.
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs For topping.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and add milk to create a creamy cheese sauce. Stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  3. Combine the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce.
Assembly
  1. In a baking dish, layer the shredded chicken and dressing.
  2. Top with the macaroni and cheese mixture.
  3. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for extra crispiness.
Baking
  1. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Serving
  1. Serve hot right out of the oven, optionally garnished with fresh herbs.
