Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
- In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, dried oregano, and dried parsley until well combined.
- Spread a generous amount of the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread, making sure to coat the edges as well.
Baking
- Place the buttered slices on the prepared baking sheet, buttered side up.
- Sprinkle an even layer of mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese over each slice.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
- Serve warm. For extra crispiness, you can broil for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.

Notes
Cheesy Texas Toast is best served warm right out of the oven. Pair it with your favorite soups or salads. For a twist, serve it alongside marinara sauce for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
