Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs frozen cheddar cheese pierogies
  • 1 (15 ounce) jar alfredo sauce
  • 8 slices crispy cooked bacon, chopped
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Kosher salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch casserole dish.
  • Arrange half of the frozen pierogies in the greased casserole dish. Spoon half of the alfredo sauce over the pierogies. Sprinkle half of the chopped crispy bacon, half of the chopped green onions, and half of the shredded cheese over the sauce.
  • Layer the remaining pierogies over the cheese layer. Spoon the remaining alfredo sauce over the pierogies. Sprinkle the remaining chopped bacon, chopped green onions, and shredded cheese over the sauce. Season with kosher salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake it in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted, and the casserole is bubbly and fully cooked.
  • Once done, garnish the casserole with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
