  • 1 pound pizza dough Can substitute with store-bought dough.
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese For topping.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese For topping.
For serving
  • Marinara sauce for dipping Optional but recommended.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Shape the Dough: Divide the pizza dough into 10 equal portions and roll each into an 8-inch-long rope, making the ends thicker to resemble bone shapes.
  3. Snip the Ends: Make two small cuts at each end of the ropes and gently pull the cut pieces apart to create bone ends.
  4. Brush and Bake: Brush the breadsticks with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake for about 15 minutes until golden.
  5. Add Mozzarella: Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes until melted and bubbly.
  6. Serve: Remove from the oven and serve warm with marinara sauce.
