Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise and place each half cut side up on a foil-lined baking sheet.
- In a bowl, stir together the softened butter, minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon of fresh chopped parsley.
- Spread the butter mixture evenly on each half of the French bread.
Topping and Baking
- In a small bowl, combine the cheeses and sprinkle them evenly on top of the bread.
- Sprinkle the remaining parsley over the cheeses.
- Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
- Then turn on the broiler to high, move the rack to the top position, and broil for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
Serving
- Allow the bread to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes
