Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F and prepare a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium microwave-safe bowl, melt 1/2 cup of butter and set it aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt.
- Pour the milk into the melted butter, add 1 tsp of chives, and stir well.
- Combine the milk mixture with the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Mixing
- Fold in the shredded cheese, the remaining 1 tsp of chives, and the bacon until evenly distributed.
- Spoon the dough onto the prepared baking sheet in 1/2 cup-sized portions.
Baking
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the biscuits are just barely golden brown.
- In a small mixing bowl, melt the remaining 1/4 cup of butter. Stir in the parsley and brush this mixture over the tops of the biscuits once they come out of the oven.
