  • 14 oz artichoke hearts (drained and chopped)

  • 1 Tablespoon garlic (minced)
  • Fresh parsley (if desired, chopped)
  • Paprika (if desired)

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Blend in the mayonnaise and the chopped artichoke hearts, incorporating the two well.
  3. Mix in the cheddar cheese and minced garlic. Beat on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread the artichoke mixture evenly across the tops of each slice of French bread, ensuring complete coverage to the edges.
  5. Arrange the bread on a baking sheet and place it under the broiler for about 2-3 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  6. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and sprinkle some paprika over the top before serving immediately.
