Ingredients
  

For the filling
  • 1 pound ground beef Can be substituted with turkey or chicken.
  • 4 slices bacon Crispy bacon adds a smoky depth.
  • 1 large onion, chopped Brings sweetness and aroma.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Classic addition for cheeseburger flavor.
  • 1 cup shredded Pepperjack cheese Adds a spicy kick.
  • 1 cup Bisquick Baking Mix Key ingredient for binding.
  • 1 cup milk Use whole, low-fat, or non-dairy.
  • 3 large eggs Essential for binding the filling.
  • to taste salt Don’t forget to season!
  • to taste pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet, crumble, and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add chopped onion and ground beef. Cook until the beef is browned and the onions are translucent. Drain any excess grease.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture with crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, Pepperjack cheese, Bisquick Baking Mix, milk, eggs, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased pie dish or casserole dish.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
