Method
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, crumbling it as it cooks.
- Once cooked through, drain the beef and return it to the skillet.
- Add ketchup, mustard, seasoned salt, onion powder, and garlic powder to the skillet, stirring to coat the meat. Cook over low heat.
- Place cheese slices over the meat mixture, cover the skillet, and let sit for 3-4 minutes to melt the cheese. Then, add chopped pickles and stir to combine.
- Spoon approximately 1/4 cup of the cheeseburger mixture into each egg roll wrapper. Fold in each side and then roll up tightly. Seal the egg rolls closed by brushing water onto the top corner of the wrapper.
- Lightly spritz each egg roll with oil spray.
- Place the egg rolls in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring space between each egg roll for air circulation. You may need to cook in batches.
- Cook at 390°F for 7 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through cooking.
- For the dipping sauce, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, dill pickle juice, and seasoned salt until well combined.
- Serve the hot egg rolls with the dipping sauce.
Notes
For a variation, you can also bake these egg rolls in the oven at 375°F for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Feel free to adjust the seasonings and toppings according to your taste preferences.
