Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1 whole 9 inches pie crust, store-bought or homemade You can use a store-bought pie crust for ease.
Filling
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream Can substitute with low-fat dairy if desired.
  • 1/2 cup whole milk Can substitute with low-fat dairy if desired.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup Gruyere cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, grated

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the crust. If using a store-bought pie crust, roll it out and fit it into a 9-inch pie dish. If making your own, prepare accordingly. Bake for about 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden. Set aside to cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, whole milk, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg until well combined.
  4. Stir in the grated Gruyere, Swiss, and Cheddar cheeses until evenly distributed.
Baking
  1. Pour the cheese mixture into the pre-baked pie crust.
  2. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
  3. Let the quiche cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes
