Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Position a rack in the middle for even browning.
- Slice the loaf in half lengthwise so you have two flat surfaces.
- Spread the garlic butter evenly across each cut side, reaching to the edges.
- Pile the mozzarella evenly over both halves, then sprinkle the grated Parmesan on top.
- Season lightly with Italian seasoning, and add salt and pepper to taste.
- Place the halves, cut-side up, on a baking sheet lined with parchment or foil.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the cheese is melted, bubbling, and beginning to brown at the edges.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped parsley, slice into sticks or wedges, and serve warm.
- Tip: If you like a crispier top, switch the oven to broil for 30–60 seconds — watch closely to prevent burning.
