  • 1 cup 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Mozzarella provides the pull.
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds salty nuttiness.
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Enhances overall flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Position a rack in the middle for even browning.
  2. Slice the loaf in half lengthwise so you have two flat surfaces.
  3. Spread the garlic butter evenly across each cut side, reaching to the edges.
  4. Pile the mozzarella evenly over both halves, then sprinkle the grated Parmesan on top.
  5. Season lightly with Italian seasoning, and add salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Place the halves, cut-side up, on a baking sheet lined with parchment or foil.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the cheese is melted, bubbling, and beginning to brown at the edges.
  8. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped parsley, slice into sticks or wedges, and serve warm.
  9. Tip: If you like a crispier top, switch the oven to broil for 30–60 seconds — watch closely to prevent burning.
