Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices bacon Thin and crispy bacon recommended
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce For brushing and dipping

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  3. Take a small amount of the meat mixture and place a piece of cheddar cheese in the center. Roll the meat around the cheese to form a meatball.
  4. Wrap each meatball with a slice of bacon, making sure to secure it well.
Baking
  1. Place the bacon-wrapped meatballs on a baking sheet. Brush each one with BBQ sauce for added flavor.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the meat is cooked through.
Serving
  1. Serve hot and enjoy! These bombs can be served with extra BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

Make sure to seal the meat around the cheese well to prevent it from leaking out during cooking. You can customize these BBQ Bacon Bombs by adding different kinds of cheese or using ground turkey for a leaner option.
