Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until everything is well blended and smooth.
- Grease a muffin tin to prevent sticking, then fill each cup with the cookie dough mixture, about 2/3 full.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are firm and set.
- Allow cookies to cool for a few minutes before carefully removing from the pan.
Decoration
- Once they’re cool, take a small knife and gently create a small well in the center of each cookie cup.
- Fill the well with the green buttercream icing, giving it that bubbling potion effect.
- Decorate your spooky cauldrons with chocolate chips and, if desired, place candy eyes for a fun touch.
