  • 1 can apple pie filling (21 oz) Can be substituted with homemade applesauce or other fruit filling.
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4 oz)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can be substituted with coconut cream for a dairy-free option.
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup caramel sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon Optional for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until well combined. Allow it to set for a few minutes.
  2. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until fully incorporated.
Assembly
  1. Layer graham crackers at the bottom of your dish.
  2. Spread a layer of the prepared pudding filling over the crackers, followed by a layer of apple pie filling.
  3. Repeat these layers of graham crackers, pudding, and apple filling until all components are used, finishing with a layer of pudding.
Topping
  1. Drizzle caramel sauce generously over the top of the cake.
  2. Sprinkle a pinch of ground cinnamon if desired.
