Main Ingredients
  • 1 whole Smoked gammon joint Soaked overnight
  • 2 tins beans Your choice of beans
  • 1 tin chopped tomato
  • 200 grams mushrooms Sliced
  • 2 whole red peppers Chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic Chopped
  • 2 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp mild curry powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Soak the smoked gammon joint overnight.
Cooking
  1. Place the soaked gammon joint in a slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours.
  2. After 4 hours, remove the gammon and shred it.
  3. In the slow cooker, add the beans, chopped tomatoes, mushrooms, red peppers, chopped garlic, smoked paprika, and mild curry powder.
  4. Mix everything well and let it cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  5. Serve hot.
