Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 lb asparagus spears, trimmed
  • 1 cup Caesar dressing
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adjust according to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Additional Parmesan cheese can be added to the asparagus

Seasoning and garnish

  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Baking

  • Remove the skillet from heat. Pour Caesar dressing evenly over the chicken breasts, then sprinkle each piece with grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Nestle the trimmed asparagus spears around the chicken in the skillet. Sprinkle the asparagus generously with garlic powder and add more Parmesan if you like.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 18–22 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the asparagus is tender.
  • Before serving, garnish with lemon wedges.

Notes

Make sure the chicken breasts are of even thickness for even cooking. Use fresh asparagus for the best texture and flavor. Feel free to adjust the amount of Parmesan cheese to suit your taste. You can add other vegetables, like cherry tomatoes or bell peppers, for extra color and nutrition.
