  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 1 piece bell pepper, sliced any color will do!
  • 1 piece onion, chopped
  • 2 pieces sausages, sliced your choice of sausage
  • 4 strips bacon, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup water
  • Seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, or your favorites)

Method
 

Cooking Process
  1. In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  2. Once the bacon is crispy, remove it from the skillet and set aside, leaving some grease behind.
  3. In the same skillet, add the sliced sausage and cook until nicely browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Toss in the chopped onion and bell pepper, sautéing until softened, about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the chopped cabbage and mix well.
  6. Add the butter, water, and your chosen seasonings.
  7. Cover the skillet and let it simmer until the cabbage is tender, stirring occasionally for about 10-15 minutes.
  8. Stir in the crispy bacon before serving to maintain its crunch.
