Ingredients
  

For the pretzels

  • 4 cups mini pretzel twists
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Melted for toffee mixture
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter chips or chopped peanuts As a topping
  • Sea salt flakes For sprinkling before cooling

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup over medium heat. Let it simmer for 3–4 minutes until it becomes bubbly.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Pour the toffee mixture over the pretzels in a bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the toffee.
  • Spread the coated pretzels on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer and sprinkle with peanut butter chips.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for 10–12 minutes. When done, remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with sea salt flakes.
  • Let the pretzels cool completely to harden before breaking them apart and enjoying!

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. You can also package them as gifts.
