  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar together using a mixer on medium speed for 2-3 minutes until creamy.
  3. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and gradually add the all-purpose flour, about 1/2 cup at a time, mixing on low until fully incorporated.
  4. Knead the dough gently with your hands if necessary until it reaches a soft, pliable consistency.
  5. Shape the dough into cookies and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cookies are golden.
