Ingredients
  

For the Wings

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

For the Glaze

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Adjust sweetness based on preference.
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (slurry) Use to thicken the sauce.
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks Fresh or canned.

For Garnish

  • Chopped parsley For garnish.

Baking the Wings

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Bake the wings for 40–45 minutes, flipping them halfway through.

Making the Glaze

  • In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, pineapple juice, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar.
  • Heat the mixture and bring it to a simmer.
  • Stir in the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce.
  • Once thickened, stir in the pineapple chunks and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes.

Final Steps

  • Once the wings are done baking, toss them in the hot glaze until fully coated.
  • Sprinkle chopped parsley on top and serve warm.

Notes

Allow wings to cool completely before storing in an airtight container. They should last in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
