Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine brown sugar, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken in a ziplock bag or bowl and pour the marinade over, ensuring the chicken is well-coated.
  3. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or overnight for best results.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Transfer the marinated chicken and sauce to a baking dish.
  3. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  4. Optionally, baste the chicken with the sauce halfway through cooking for additional flavor.
  5. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
