  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature Salted butter can be used, omit kosher salt.
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • pinch kosher salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start with softened butter. Make sure it’s at room temperature for the best blending results.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter with dark brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of kosher salt.
  3. Using an electric mixer, blend the mixture on medium speed until it’s creamy and smooth.
  4. Taste the butter and adjust the sweetness or cinnamon if desired.
  5. Serve immediately, or transfer it to an airtight container for later enjoyment.
