  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms Any variety of mushrooms works well
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic for best flavor
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce Can substitute with tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For sautéing
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • optional sesame seeds for garnish Optional but adds a nice crunch

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until it becomes fragrant.
  3. Toss in the broccoli florets and sliced mushrooms.
  4. Stir fry everything for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  5. Drizzle in the soy sauce and coax it over the veggies, ensuring they’re evenly coated.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to meld the flavors together.
  8. Remove from heat, and if you're feeling fancy, garnish with sesame seeds before serving hot!
