Ingredients
  

  • 5 uncooked brats
  • 5 brat buns
For the Beer Cheese Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup beer
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives

Method
 

  1. For the Brats:
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C).
  3. Arrange the brats in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  4. Cook for 15 minutes, turning halfway through, or until the brats reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  5. For the Cheese Sauce:
  6. In a small saucepan over medium heat, add the butter and let it melt.
  7. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  8. Gradually whisk in the beer and milk until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
  9. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded Cheddar cheese and paprika until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  10. To Serve:
  11. Place each brat in a bun.
  12. Drizzle the beer cheese sauce over the brats.
  13. Sprinkle with chopped chives.
