Preparation
- Fill a large pot with water and add 1 tablespoon of kosher salt. Bring it to a boil over high heat.
- While waiting for the water to boil, shuck the corn and rinse them to remove any silks.
Cooking
- Using tongs, carefully add the corn to the boiling water.
- Boil until the yellow kernels turn bright and the white kernels become light yellow, usually about 5 minutes.
Serving
- Once cooked, use tongs to transfer the corn to a plate and serve with melted salted butter if desired.

Notes
