Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 4 ears fresh corn on the cob Select ears that are plump and bright in color for better flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt Used for boiling water.
  • to taste none salted butter Optional for serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Fill a large pot with water and add 1 tablespoon of kosher salt. Bring it to a boil over high heat.
  2. While waiting for the water to boil, shuck the corn and rinse them to remove any silks.
Cooking
  1. Using tongs, carefully add the corn to the boiling water.
  2. Boil until the yellow kernels turn bright and the white kernels become light yellow, usually about 5 minutes.
Serving
  1. Once cooked, use tongs to transfer the corn to a plate and serve with melted salted butter if desired.

Notes
