Ingredients

  • 3 oz cream cheese softened to room temperature

  • 2 1/2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 8 oz tube of crescent roll dough (8 rolls)
  • 2/3 cup fresh blueberries

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking Sheet
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar using a hand mixer or stand mixer until smooth and well combined.
  3. Separate the canned crescent rolls into 8 triangles along the perforated seams.
  4. Place a triangle of dough on a clean, flat surface with the short, wide end facing you and the long triangle pointing away.
  5. Spread about a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture across the bottom third of the dough triangle.
  6. Top the cream cheese mixture with two rows of fresh blueberries.
  7. Carefully roll the dough forward, starting from the end closest to you, all the way to the tip of the triangle, forming a roll.
  8. Place the finished roll onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and repeat the process with the remaining dough, cream cheese mixture, and blueberries to create a total of 8 rolls.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-13 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
