Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Melt ½ cup of butter and pour it into the bottom of your greased baking dish; set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- Add in the milk and gently combine; don’t over-mix.
- Fold in the fresh blueberries.
Baking
- Spoon the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish. Do not mix; the butter should remain below the dough.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the tops are golden and the biscuit is cooked through.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
