  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers or digestive biscuits Swap between crushed graham crackers and digestive biscuits according to preference.

  • 3 tbsp melted butter Helps bind the crust together.
For the Filling
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen blackberries If using frozen, thaw and drain excess moisture.
  • 2 tbsp sugar Adjust based on the sweetness of the blackberries.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers, chopped pistachios, and melted butter. Mix well until the mixture is uniformly coated.
  3. Press this mixture into the bottom of a cupcake or tart pan. Bake for about 8-10 minutes, or until the crust turns golden brown. Let it cool.
  4. In another bowl, mash the blackberries with sugar to the desired texture.
  5. Spoon the blackberry mixture over the cooled crust, spreading it evenly.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to let it set.
