  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits (fluffy biscuits)
  • 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled Use pre-cooked sausage for quicker prep.
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice) Use half for mixing and half for topping.
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the sausage until browned. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Cut the biscuits into quarters and place them in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Add the cooked sausage, crumbled bacon, and half of the cheese to the biscuit pieces in the baking dish.
  • Pour the egg and milk mixture evenly over the biscuits and meats.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese and sliced green onions on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve warm with additional green onions or a side of fruit. Great with ketchup or hot sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days, or freeze for longer storage.
