Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- In a 2-quart saucepan, mix the sugar and cornstarch. Stir in the raspberries, water, and lemon juice.
- Cook this mixture over medium heat until it starts boiling, stirring constantly for about 1 minute.
- Pour the berry mixture into an 8-inch glass baking dish or baking pan.
- In a separate bowl, stir together the Bisquick mix, milk, sugar, and melted butter until a soft dough forms.
- Drop dollops of dough over the hot berry layer, spreading it out a bit.
Baking
- Bake for around 15 minutes, until the berry mixture is bubbly and the topping is a lighter brown.
- Once baked, cool the dish slightly on a wire rack. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream.
