Cooking the Beef
- In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the beef and cook until it’s nicely browned.
- Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.
Stir-Frying the Vegetables
- In the same skillet, toss in the onion, celery, carrots, mushrooms, and snow peas. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Add the water chestnuts, garlic, and ginger, stir-frying for another 2 minutes.
Combining Ingredients
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, cornstarch, and a splash of water to create a smooth sauce.
- Bring the beef back to the skillet, pour the sauce over everything, and stir well to combine.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and the sauce has thickened.
- Serve hot over a bed of rice or noodles.

Notes
