These beef and cheddar sliders transform leftover roast beef into delightful mini sandwiches with melted cheddar and a zing of creamed horseradish. Perfect for game nights and casual gatherings!

  • 1 tray tray (12-count) connected slider buns Soft dinner rolls work well
  • 2 cups shredded cooked roast beef Leftovers or deli; warm slightly if chilled
  • 6 slices sharp or aged cheddar Can use sliced or shredded cheddar
  • 3 tbsp creamed horseradish Can substitute with a mix of prepared horseradish and mayonnaise
  • 4 tbsp salted butter, melted Use unsalted + 1/4 tsp salt if needed
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Or 1 small clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley Or 1 tsp dried parsley

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the connected slider buns horizontally, keeping them attached, and place the bottom half in the lined dish.
  3. Spread the creamed horseradish evenly over the bottom buns.
  4. Scatter the shredded roast beef over the horseradish, pressing lightly.
  5. Lay the cheddar slices across the beef or distribute shredded cheddar evenly.
  6. Place the top half of the buns over the cheese.
  7. In a bowl, whisk the melted butter with garlic powder and parsley. Brush over the top buns.
Baking
  1. Cover the baking dish tightly with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing into 12 sliders.
