Ingredients
  

For the Mashed Potatoes
  • 4 medium Potatoes Peeled and chopped
  • 4 tablespoons Butter For mashing
  • 1/2 cup Milk For creaminess
  • 1 teaspoon Salt For seasoning
For the Sausages and Gravy
  • 8 links Sausages High-quality
  • 2 large Onions Sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Flour For thickening the gravy
  • 2 cups Beef or vegetable stock For the gravy
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper To taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Peel and chop the potatoes. Boil them in a pot of salted water until tender.
  2. Drain the water and mash the potatoes with butter and milk until creamy.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet and cook the sausages until browned and cooked through.
  2. In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook until caramelized and golden.
  3. Sprinkle in flour and stir for about a minute, then gradually add stock, stirring until gravy thickens.
  4. Season the gravy with salt and pepper to taste.
Serving
  1. Serve sausages on top of mashed potatoes and drizzle with onion gravy.
