Ingredients
  

For the Mash
  • 4 medium Potatoes Peeled and chopped
  • 2 tbsp Butter For mashing
  • 1/2 cup Milk Splash for creaminess
  • Salt to taste Salt For boiling and seasoning
  • Pepper to taste Pepper For seasoning
For the Sausages and Gravy
  • 4 links Sausages Pork, chicken, or vegetarian
  • 2 large Onions Sliced
  • 1 tbsp Flour For thickening the gravy
  • 2 cups Beef or vegetable stock For gravy

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Peel and chop the potatoes. Boil them in a pot of salted water until tender.
  2. Drain the water and mash the potatoes with butter and a splash of milk until creamy.
Cooking
  1. In a skillet, cook the sausages until browned and cooked through.
  2. In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook until caramelized and golden.
  3. Sprinkle in flour and stir for about a minute to thicken the gravy.
  4. Gradually add stock, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
Serving
  1. Serve sausages on top of mashed potatoes and drizzle with onion gravy.

Notes
