Preparation
- Peel and chop the potatoes. Boil them in a pot of salted water until tender, then drain and mash with butter and milk.
- In a skillet, cook sausages until browned and cooked through.
- In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook until caramelized.
Gravy Making
- Sprinkle in flour and stir for about a minute.
- Gradually add the beef or vegetable stock, stirring until the gravy thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
Serving
- Serve sausages on mashed potatoes and drizzle with onion gravy.

Notes
