Ingredients
  

For the pasta
  • 1 lb spaghetti or your favorite pasta
For the protein
  • 1.5 lbs medium shrimp, peeled and deveined or 1 lb boneless chicken, chopped Use shrimp or chicken based on preference.
  • 1.5 tablespoons olive oil For sautéing.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tsp paprika
  • to taste black pepper
For the sauce
  • 0.5 cup Hellmann's mayonnaise
  • 0.5 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Additional garlic for the sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice Freshly squeezed.
  • 0.25 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 0.5 tablespoon onion powder
Garnish
  • to taste fresh parsley For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, minced garlic, lime juice, crushed red pepper flakes, and onion powder. Mix until well combined and set aside.
Pasta Cooking
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook your pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Protein Preparation
  1. In another bowl, toss your uncooked shrimp or chicken with paprika, minced garlic, and black pepper, making sure each piece is evenly coated.
Cooking the Protein
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp or chicken and cook, stirring frequently, until it’s no longer pink—about 10 minutes. Remove from heat once it’s perfectly cooked.
Combine Everything
  1. In a large mixing bowl, toss together the cooked pasta, your shrimp or chicken, and the prepared sauce until everything is well combined.
Serve
  1. Garnish with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lime. Enjoy this delicious dish with your loved ones!
