Ingredients
  

  • - 1 package 16 oz of vanilla wafers, crushed
  • - 1 cup of melted margarine
  • - 1 can 20 oz of crushed pineapple, drained
  • - 6 ripe bananas
  • - 1 package 8 oz of cream cheese
  • - 2 cups of confectioners' sugar
  • - 1 container 12 oz of frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • - 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts
  • - 8 maraschino cherries

Instructions
 

  • Combine crushed vanilla wafers and melted margarine. Press into the bottom of a 9x13-inch pan.
  • Beat cream cheese and confectioners' sugar until fluffy; spread over the vanilla wafer crust.
  • Spoon crushed pineapple over the cream cheese layer, then layer sliced bananas over the pineapple.
  • Cover with whipped topping and sprinkle with chopped walnuts. Place maraschino cherries on top.
  • Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

- Ensure bananas are ripe but firm for best flavor and texture.
- Customize by adding chocolate syrup or hot fudge between layers for extra indulgence.
