Ingredients
  

For the mushrooms
  • 4 pieces Portobello mushrooms Remove the stems and clean with a damp towel.
  • ¼ cup Traditional Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Lucero Extra Virgin Olive Oil For marinating and brushing the buns.
  • 1 Tbsp minced fresh garlic
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
  • to taste Salt For seasoning.
  • to taste Freshly ground pepper For seasoning.
For serving
  • Your favorite condiments Add lettuce, tomato, avocado, or cheese for extra flavor.
  • 4 pieces Hamburger buns To serve the burgers.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prep the mushrooms by removing the stems and cleaning with a damp towel.
  2. Whisk together in a mixing bowl the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, and rosemary to create a marinade.
  3. Place the mushrooms in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let stand for about 20 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat a grill or oven broiler to cook the mushrooms, lightly salt and pepper each mushroom.
  2. Cook for 5 to 8 minutes per side until well caramelized and tender.
  3. Brush the cut side of the buns with olive oil and broil until lightly toasted.
Assembly
  1. Assemble the burger with the cooked mushrooms and your favorite condiments. Enjoy!

Notes
