  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • 2 cups pizza marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage until browned.
  • Add in the chopped onion, minced garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
  • Stir in the cooked rotini pasta, pepperoni, black olives, pizza marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until everything is well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  • Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Make sure to cook the pasta al dente to prevent it from getting mushy. You can add other toppings like mushrooms or spinach.
