Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage until browned.
- Add in the chopped onion, minced garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
- Stir in the cooked rotini pasta, pepperoni, black olives, pizza marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until everything is well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Make sure to cook the pasta al dente to prevent it from getting mushy. You can add other toppings like mushrooms or spinach.
