  • 3 pieces ripe but firm Bosc pears, halved and cored Choose pears that are ripe but still firm for best texture.
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon honey Feel free to increase for a sweeter option.
  • 1 cup honeyed figs, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts Can be substituted with almond slices.
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled Can be swapped for feta or goat cheese.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Halve and core the Bosc pears.
  3. Arrange the pear halves cut side up in a baking dish.
  4. Drizzle melted butter and honey on top of the pears.
  5. Add honeyed figs and chopped walnuts evenly across the pears.
  6. Crumble blue cheese generously over the mixture.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until pears are fork-tender.
  2. Serve warm, enjoying the beautiful blend of flavors.
