Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the pears in half lengthwise and scoop out the core.
- In a baking dish, place the pear halves cut side up. Add a small pat of butter to each half if desired.
Assembly
- Sprinkle fresh berries into the cavity of each pear. Then, add chopped walnuts on top.
- Crumble blue cheese over the pears and nuts.
- Finish with a drizzle of honey over the entire dish.
Baking
- Place in the oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the pears are tender and slightly caramelized.
- If desired, add fresh thyme sprigs before serving.
