Ingredients
  

Main ingredients
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed Make sure it is completely thawed before use.
  • 1 whole wheel of Brie
  • 3-4 pieces Plums, halved and pitted Use ripe plums for best flavor.
  • 1 sprig Fresh thyme
  • to taste Honey or brown sugar (optional) Add for sweetness if desired.
  • 1 egg for egg wash Beaten, for brushing the pastry.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  3. Place the Brie in the center of the pastry.
  4. Arrange the halved plums around the Brie and sprinkle with fresh thyme.
  5. Drizzle with honey or brown sugar if desired.
  6. Fold the pastry over the Brie and plums, sealing the edges.
  7. Brush the pastry with egg wash for a golden finish.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
  2. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm.
